BCSG and KashFlow: A match made in Heaven for small businesses struggling to get a handle on their accounts.
Partnership between the accounting firm and training organisation represents the first of its kind in the cloud software space.

The SaaS (Software as a Service) model is typically very low touch, rarely offering much in the way of contact between providers and users. In May 2013, BCSG Learning Solutions and KashFlow forged an exciting new alliance to change all that. Both of these London based companies specialise in providing products and services to the SME market, helping business owners to overcome financial, planning, and marketing matters, thus ensuring their business success.

KashFlow provides an online accounting software package, which is used by tens of thousands of businesses, allowing them to quickly and easily manage and automate their invoicing and accounting needs. Although the product is suitable for those with no accounting knowledge, many new users who are unfamiliar with doing the books still feel a little anxiety when getting started. Thanks to the new partnership with BCSG, KashFlow are unique among accounting software providers in offering the opportunity to attend face-to-face training to end users.

BCSG Learning Solutions already trains in excess of 15,000 SME customers every year in a variety of different skills, from bookkeeping and online marketing through to business planning and HR. In addition to learning about KashFlow’s functionality and best practices in the system, BCSG Trainers are also educating KashFlow customers on bookkeeping basics such as VAT, reporting and Chart of Accounts.

Jacqueline Wanstall, Head Trainer for BCSG, said “We are delighted to be partnering with KashFlow, who are leading the way in cloud-based accounting software by offering subsidised training to their customers. This is an invaluable resource to any business owner, and our trainers are very happy to share their knowledge and expertise with even more SME customers”.

Duane Jackson, Founder & CEO of KashFlow, stated “Most cloud companies take a ‘zero-touch’ approach and want to minimise the human interaction with their customers to keep costs down. We think that’s short-sighted and in an increasingly digital world it’s important to retain the human aspect of doing business.
With customers all over the country we had to find an organisation to help us deliver this training service. I’m really pleased to be working with BCSG as they’re just as passionate as we are about working with ambitious small business owners.”
Half day training sessions are currently taking place in London, Manchester and Birmingham. To view availability please visit the KashFlow website:
